Colin Chatfield Workshop at Reflections

Colin is a photo artist who enjoys all photography but has a passion for the night sky, landscapes and macros. One of his goals in life is to educate people about the beauty of the world around them that is all too often taken for granted.

On Saturday afternoon at Reflections of Nature Show he will be doing just that. Colin is offering a workshop on Macro Photography.
- Saturday, October 27, 2018
- Saskatoon's Prairieland Park, Hall C
- From 1:00 - 4:30 pm

Colin created the Saskatchewan Aurora Hunters group so he could share his passion for night photography with other photo artists with the same interest.

SWAA Member Terry Minter will be at Reflections of Nature

While Terry Minter enjoyed his career as a conservation officer he was able to observe wildlife in many areas through-out Saskatchewan. This has given him a head start as a wildlife artist.

This self-taught artist has been pencil drawing wildlife art for over 35 years.  Terry has a display at the Tourism Moose Jaw Centre on Highway #1. Watch for his booth at The Collector Show in Saskatoon in March. He has shown his work at Reflections and plans to come back to the 2018 show.

Creating at the Saskatoon Ex

We have been having so much fun at the exhibition.

On Tuesday Robyn Magera showed us what she does when she paints her shoes.

On Wednesday Lori Merkle came to show people her wood burning techniques. Unfortunately I didn't get any photos.

On Thursday a group got together and did some needle felting. Here is the penguin that Audrey Boyd created.

On Friday we will be working with Loretta Metzger to do Paverpol sculptures. Saturday Robyn Magera will help us make some wire trees of life. Sunday Marion Janzen and Beth Campbell will demo their painting.

Be sure to stop by and say hi if you go to the exhibition!
