Our Perogy fund-raising night was a huge success!
There were 70 people who enjoyed the evening at The Woods. We were able to raise over $1,200. What a great time for our first time arranging such an evening.
Many thanks to John Waddington for getting the ball rolling and taking on much of the duties involved in organizing. Thanks as well to Darbie for lending his powerful voice to announcing the winners in the silent auction. Lori Merkle, Beth Campbell, Connie McConnell and Harvey Rebalkin were among the volunteers who combined forces with John & Darbie to make the evening such a success.
Looking forward to doing this again.

We are raising money for storage space for our wooden display boards. They are currently under a tarp beneath a member's deck - so obviously we need to add storage!
Come out. Bring your sister. And your brother. Maybe your brother's brother. And your sister's sister. Bring the whole family. And all your friends. And their friends. And even consider bringing your enemies. We will have a great time!

REFLECTIONS 2019
Our Reflections of Nature Show in 2019 will be on Saturday, October 26 until Sunday, October 27 with the Gala Opening Saturday night.
We are shortening the show for two reasons:
- to save a bit of money on the venue
- to recognize the extra expense those travelling from outside of Saskatoon have
We will not be having a banquet at the show in 2019. All those popular events will still be happening, just re-arranging things to fit them in.

2018 Raffle Winners
Colleen Chiesa won the carving of a chickadee done by Cam Merkle.
Paully Neilson won the quilt that was donated by Lola Hingtgen.
And Cyril Saunders won the phoyogtaph by John Waddington.
There was a Art Treasure Hunt. Visitors to the show were given a list of questions about art pieces that were displayed at the show. Once they had answered the questions, their name was entered into a draw to win a small painting donated from the collection of Leroy & Rina Royer. The winner of that painting was Olivia Maney. (Sorry - didn't get a photo of that one).
